Members of the 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗦 Executive Team, Yogendranath Ramsingh, Stefano Ramsingh, Sherry-Ann Peters-Telesford and Anthony Charles, had the privilege of attending the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TTCIC) Annual Meeting and Outlook for 2026–2027, held on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad. 

Under the theme Exportance: Re-engineering for Market Expansion, the event emphasized the critical role of regional integration and Trinidad and Tobago’s ongoing efforts to strengthen energy collaboration with Guyana. It also delivered a strong message for businesses to evolve from simple alignment to decisive execution within the global marketplace.

Keynote speaker His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President Guyana Ali highlighted 'Strengthening Trinidad and Tobago – Guyana Energy Collaboration in a New Regional Energy Era,' underscoring the importance of deepening regional ties and capitalizing on emerging opportunities across the Caribbean.

A featured panel discussion, 'From Constraint to Competitiveness: Unlocking Public-Private Partnerships in Trinidad and Tobago', included insights from Dr. Christian Stone alongside representatives from CAF and IDB Lab. The conversation focused on enhancing competitiveness through stronger public-private collaboration.

Discussions throughout the event reinforced the need for export-driven growth and economic diversification, particularly reducing reliance on the energy sector. Speakers pointed to significant opportunities for intra-regional trade, especially within the food and beverage industries across Caribbean and Latin American markets.

The presence of officials from the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs further highlighted the government’s commitment to strengthening international relationships and expanding Trinidad and Tobago’s global footprint.

The Chamber also welcomed Karen Yip Chuck as its new President, succeeding Sonji Pierre-Chase. A new Board of Directors was appointed for the 2026–2027 term:
